From arriving to leaving I received brilliant care. The reps in the uk were extremely helpful and very clear about the whole experience.

Was well looked after throughout the whole experience .Surgery went went well . The hospital was clean and was treated well with respect and dignity . The surgeon was very nice .Felt well looked after,will use them again if need be.

The best place to be From the day I made the enquiry to having the surgery. I can't thank everyone enough. Mim and her team was amazing. The surgery was so clean the staff was amazing. The surgeon was great explained everything that whatbwas going to happen. Surgery was back in June where I was a massive 28 stone. Today 20th Dec I'm at 16.13 stone

I was so impressed with Riga weight loss, they were so organised and caring and professional.I had revision therapy which is from a gastric band to Gastric bypass, I did my research being a health professional and I would highly recommend. The support on Facebook and what's app are so supportive and it was a pleasure meeting fellow people that were also lovely. So don't worry if you are going on your own, I'm sure you will be in safe hands.

Amazing from start to finish! Excellent communication if you needed anything you just had to ask! When in Riga the hospital and staff was amazing, again anything you needed you just had to ask! I cannot thank them all enough they have completely changed my life!

From start to finish from my 1st email to getting home I had the best support, I have depression and anxiety but was made to feel safe and comfortable with all the team at Riga. Would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about going for weight loss surgery.

An amazing experience from the start Right from the beginning with Mim, so kind and patient and reassuring and she has been through every step of this journey. The care given at the clinic was simply Amazing. They all seem to really care and kept on top of things all the time. Everything happened when they said it would happen. I felt so safe and well cared for by the whole team. Everything ran better than clockwork! I would not hesitate to recommend!

Great experience Everything went like clockwork.picked up from airport taken to lovely central hotel for 1st evening. Picked up next day to go to clinic ( 20 mins away) thorough tests and op following day , discharged couple of days later. I choose to stay extra 3 nights in Riga. Glad I did , made flight home more comfortable and lots to do in Riga walking around , beautiful city.

Seamless from start to finish The whole process from booking to my return journey home was absolutely seamless. Everything was perfect from pick up at airport, hotel, the clinic was absolutely spotless and the nurses were so lovely. I would highly recommend WLR without a shadow of a doubt.

Amazing care, 100% recommend Was booked in for my pre ops on the 25th, had my gastric sleeve on the 26th. The first thing to note is the care the nurses and doctors are very good at no point did I feel like I was not safe. I was told that my blood pressure was acting strange and I needed to make sure if I went for a toilet or something I had someone with me, it was 2am and I really didn’t want to disturb anyone so I went for a toilet myself and collapsed due to the fluctuation in my blood pressure, I felt terrible about this as it happened from me ignoring there advice but I was never made to feel bad or as if it was my fault once that happened I got a few more tests to make sure everything was as it should be. I plan to come back in a few years for the removal of loose skin that they do.

My doctor Igors, I’d like to thank he was very informative and professional too. The staff Nina, Victoria and all the rest were amazingly caring. Thank all of girls. I never worried about my treatment and I’m very happy with my visit and treatment from Mim to the taxi driver that brought me back to the hotel. You are all wonderful . THANK YOU RIGA 😘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent Experience The whole experiance was really good. Transfers, hospitals, surgery, nurses, hotel everything was done for me and the whole process was seamless. Hotel is spotless, surgeons know exactly what they are talking about, nurses were great and patient co-ordinary was very helpful

Professional, kind and caring. Every step of the process was perfect and smooth sailing. Everyone is professional and it can be overwhelming but the community are also brilliant. No bad things to say at all.

5* from start to finish Had a fantastic experience with weight loss Riga from start to finish. Felt 100% safe, met some lovely people having the op same date & the day after. All the staff at the hospital were caring and helpful and my surgeon was fantastic. Pre op was very in depth and I recovered well with minimal pain. I still have ongoing support from their nutritionist for 12 months post op which for me is very much needed. Can’t recommend enough

The staff were efficient and did their jobs well. Communication was good, most speak good English , and they kept me informed of what was happening. The clinic was spotless and functional. The staff were a bit “cold” but that’s how Eastern Europeans are naturally. They weren’t offensive or rude. Communication with co- ordinators before the trip was good and answered my questions. Taxis were on time to and from airport and from hotel to clinic

I can't say enough good things about Weight Loss Riga. The surgeon is amazing, all the nursing staff are extremely proficient, the support staff are very helpful and will guide you through everything from start to finish. If weight loss surgery is something you're considering then consider going to Riga. It's a 1st class service and they make sure you've nothing to worry about.

An absolute seemless effort from start to finish. I 1st contacted Mim (co-ordinator) and she discussed everything with me, to the finest detail, very thorough and lovely to talk to,very quick with email/SMS responses. I was picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel and the next morning was met by Valentin and other people that were due for surgery. We were taken to the hospital and we went through all our paperwork with Valentin. He explained everything again and was very knowledgeable. All tests were then completed by the wonderful nursing staff, attention to detail was 2nd to none. Surgery happened later that morning and I woke up and again was looked after by the nursing staff. After 3 hours I was encouraged to walk to get the gas moving from my body and to sip water. Built my walking up over the next couple of days. On the day of discharge the surgeon came to see me with my discharge notes and Valentin arranged for a taxi to take me back to the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful hospital/surgeon/staff. I was a little apprehensive at 1st but I needn't have worried, I was in very safe hands. Hospital was excellent, very clean and modern. All the staff speak English and they look happy in their jobs.

And once in Riga Everything Ran Like Clockwork, From the airport & clinic transfers, to the pre-op tests. The care provided within the clinic was the best, all staff were kind & helpful. Some didn't have great English, but it was better than my Latvian! and didn't detract from the care. A great experience.

Thank you so much for the positive experience I had at WLR I will definitely recommend this clinic if there are people wanting WLS. • The surgeon was fantastic and the nursing staff were mostly great! Huge shout out to SN Nina and Norman who made my journey a lot smoother and made me feel heard. • En suite rooms are lovely • The clinic as a whole is wonderfully clean. Free of clutter and lovely clear corridors. •Lovely bedding (duvet and blankets etcs) • Pre op checks were fantastic! No waiting around and no delays! Brilliant As a nurse myself, it’s very challenging being a patient. However, I think there are a couple of improvements that could be made to enhance patient journey. For example: • In the double rooms, more privacy and dignity could be maintained if there was a curtain that could divide the rooms. Not only this, a relative of the patient can attend. I was very lucky that I didn’t share a room until a couple of hours before discharge meaning my husband wasn’t able to come into the room on the final day due to another lady being admitted. • I think all information papers and the website needs to be reviewed as A LOT of the information is contradicting or not clear enough. • Considering the clinic provides bariatric surgery, the clinic is lacking in bariatric equipment. Pre op chair is very restrictive (those bigger than me would struggle), the beds (are awful) and there is no comfortable chair for people to sit in to encourage sitting out and mobility. Although I have given some improvement recommendations, the service as a whole was brilliant and I would choose WLR again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to everyone at WLR who have given me the tool to a happier and healthier me. I will be forever grateful!

Great experience Really can't fault WLR in any way. From initial contact with Sue onwards. Hotel and hospital immaculate. Staff amazing. There is a language barrier with some of the nurses but that doesn't detract from how helpful they are. Great experience from start to finish.

Everything went so smoothly from start to finish from the initial phone consultation to paying deposit receiving info from the patient Co ordinators etc. The journey to Latvia was also well organised from being picked up from airport and Brought to hotel. The clinic was spotless and all the staff were so accommodating. Was weary of going abroad for weight loss surgery but wlr defiantly took that worry away and couldn't reccomend them enough

Wonderful from start to finish, the first call with Mim was very Informative. There was no pushy sales pitch, like I had with other companies I contacted. From arriving in Riga picked up from airport, taken to the hospital everything ran like clock work, the Nurses were lovely nothing was to much trouble, a special mention to Ruta who was absolutely wonderful so caring and explaining what would be happening next and what we had to achieve that day. Weight Loss Riga - centre of excellence I recently had a mini gastric bypass in Riga, the service is second to none and the medical team are truly world class. I have complex chronic illnesses, so choosing weight loss surgery was more about my health as well as taking control of my weight. I have tried everything and nothing worked for me, so when my GP said that I needed to take even more medication for my high blood pressure and diabetes, I knew I had to do something. I started researching and being an ex nurse I did a very thorough job. Weight Loss Riga shone through as the best weight loss clinic and I am extremely happy with my decision. I am only one week post op but my diabetes is already is remission and I feel so much healthier already.

Excellent clinic The clinic was very clean. Staff friendly and the surgeon excellent. First day was busy with tests all completed in house, had the operation same day. Monitored throughout the stay. Tests on last day were completed early so could be released early afternoon. I had no pain but pain relief was administered just in case. If I need future surgery I would definitely look at this clinic again.

Would recommend 10/10 Everything is arranged for you, Hotel, transfers, tests, surgery. The Hotels used are tip top central and Riga is a lovely city. The Surgeon is highly experienced and regarded. The Hospital is pristine, calm and has lovely friendly staff. Plus the back up of a coordinator ready to help with any questions.

5* for WLR. I am probably the least likely person to go abroad for surgery, but after being recommended WLR and researching them myself I am SO glad I did. Every single part of the journey has been so easy! From the enquiry to the surgery itself. At no point was there a language barrier. I have received great paperwork. The care is SOO much better than I have ever received at my local NHS hospital. Efficient, clean, professional. I could go on. All in all, i am extremely happy with my experience with WLR and would not hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone who was involved. Here’s to the start of a new journey.

Very Professional At Weight loss Riga the team went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. I live in America, been wanted to do weight loss surgery since 2021. But unfortunately some of the bad bedside manners I've read about in reviews scared the hell out of me. I give 4star because there's always room for improvement.

I was hugely impressed with my package. I returned on Saturday from Riga and to say I was impressed with the whole package is an understatement. The coordinators in this country and Riga, the cleanliness of the clinic, the lovely staff in the clinic, all drop offs and pick ups were just fantastic. The whole thing was seamless. You have a very good system in place. I did say to the staff at the clinic how lovely they were all the time because I like to give credit where credit is due. Even the surgeon and anaesthetist were just so friendly. I would highly recommend Weightloss Riga to anyone who is considering having this surgery.

Flew out Monday afternoon, traveling alone and stepping off the plane, picked up. Taken to the Hotel which was nice, next morning was taken to the hospital which is immaculate. Saff nice, I was well looked after. I never had an issue with communication. Pre op tests done. Originally went for a sleeve. But ended up having a full bypass for personal reasons. Aftercare was great, medication was given regularly. Operation was on the Wednesday morning. I was then picked up Friday 7pm Riga time taken to the airport, few back to Bristol and home by midnight. I never once felt nervous, upset or alone. WhatsApp groups have been amazing all supporting each other giving advice. I do not regret a thing! only that I'd had the money and done it sooner. Here's to a skinnier future.

Weight Loss Riga was there for anything and everything before and after my surgery, and ensured that everything went smoothly. The nurses were kind and attentive, although one did ignore that my vein had collapsed and simply told me to stop crying that it hurt. Aside from that experience, I have recovered well from my surgery and saved myself so much money by going to Riga instead of spending twice the amount for half the experience in the UK!

I was extremely anxious before my surgery but I didn’t need to be. From the moment I landed in Latvia to the moment I left, I was extremely well looked after. I am now 2 weeks post op and I am feeling great! I am so excited for the future and I can’t thank the whole team at WLR enough!

Just come back from Riga my experience was phenomenal the service was great the clinic was clean and you couldn't ask for anything more yes there is always a language barrier when you go to another country but the service they gave me me with 5 Stars

I could not have been happier with the service from Weight Loss Rigi. I went for a gastric band however after a consult with the Doctor I was advised that as a Diabetic, a ByPass is a better solution. The overall feeling for me was that from when I landed to when I left, someone was with me to answer any questions or relieve my pain. I can't describe my appreciation to everyone from the cab driver at the hotel to the pre-op and hospital team. 12KG down in 5 weeks.

Very organised, airport , hotel and hospital transfers. Hospital was very clean. Far exceeded my expectations. Cleaner than NHS by far. I had lots of tests and prior to op. Scans of liver and abdominal organs, endoscopy and also blood. I had a full MOT. Doctors had respect and were kind. Nurses were mostly nice but 2-3of them were very rude and rough.

My experience with weight loss Riga was fantastic from start to finish. The whole experience is extremely well organised from hotels to taxis and pre operative tests. You will have a patient liaison, who is absolutely lovely, and he will explain where you need to be and when. The hospital is extremely clean and again well organised. There is a slight language barrier but everyone was professional and knew what they were doing. I highly recommend getting your surgery done here and you are in very safe hands. I do not regret for a second coming here and only wish I’d done it years ago!

I chose WLR because of the fantastic reviews and also have a family member that went last year. The care I received was second to none from start to finish, everything ran like clockwork and the nurses were very attentive after surgery to ensure you are happy and comfortable. Valentin was fabulous, he ensured that all arrangements in Riga were in place including taxis, and any information we needed. I decided to fly home a day early and Valentin ensured that the surgeon would discharge me on time so that I could go to the airport. Mim in the Uk was great and always got back to me very quickly with any of the million questions I had before leaving. Would highly recommend.
