This is an exceptional, great, highly trained, family dentist in Tijuana. The staff speak good English and are super friendly. This review is not about Dr. De La Vega or his son but rather a female dentist (forgot her name) who provided treatment in their office in Feb 2024. I was referred to this office by a few family members who had positive experiences with both Dr De La Vega and his son so I decided to make an appointment not knowing who I would be seeing on the day of my appointment. I visited their office because I was experiencing sudden major sensitively and throbbing pain in one of my molars and thought perhaps I needed a root canal. The female dentist checked the gum area of my upper and lower teeth in pain area and said my existing fillings on 5 different teeth appeared to be degrading and recommended replacing the fillings to solve my problem along with some prescription toothpaste. After 3 weeks I had not seen any improvement and had to rely on taking several pain pills and Orajel to deal with the random pain throughout the day. Frustrated, I decided to make an appointment at an endodentist.

I just want to begin by saying that I have done extensive research about dentists in Mexico because I was searching for the best dental work and I am so glad I found Dr. De la Vega's clinic. From the beginning both Dr. Ignacio and Dr. Carlos were honest with me and explained to me my treatment plan and exactly what I require, after taking into account what I had in mind. I had a significant amount of work done, and Dr. Carlos did such a wonderful job, it turned out perfect. He was very attentive, detail oriented and he's work truly reflects that. I will certainly be returning and I will be recommending this dental clinic to my family and friends!

I had a great experience coming numerous times from Los Angeles to get work done. It was fast and easy and extremely affordable. Everybody in the clinic was very nice and Dr. Dale Vega was great to work with. I will definitely continue to come here for my Dental needs

I’ve been going to Dr. Ignacio De La Vega for over 10 years and now I go to his son, Carlos! They are both really really great dentists and I refer everyone I know to them!

If you see the review from MJ, I had the same experience. It was less expensive than California, although I had to go back 3 times to his office because the crown kept falling out. Finally tired of returning again and again over the border, I ended up paying a dentist in California to install another crown. Doctor is unprofessional and will talk on the phone while you are on the chair and he is working with you. Not recommended.

I was referred to Dr. Delavega by friends in San Diego. The endodontist who did my work the day of my appointment at his office did not follow through with Dr. Delavega and there was a complication that had to be addressed. When I spoke to Dr. Delavega about this, he was immediately helpful and offered to make things right. I could hear the willingness to help me in his voice and that kindness and sincerity assured me of his integrity and why he has such a high reputation.

I went there 2 different times and I have found my dentist for life. They do absolutely great work from an extraction on one side of my mouth to a filling on the other side. So friendly and caring and they simply know what they are doing. If you need anything done with your teeth I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you come here for it. Edit: Both crowns came out in less than a year. He’s a nice guy. Unfortunately his work is not good. Maybe it’s just the materials he uses because it looked great initially, so there is some skill there. He did offer to fix, but it’s not worth the time and money I’ve decided. Before edit: I have been here a few times now and have been very pleased with the service. He will make sure you are taken care of.
