Surgery for lipoedema in November 2023 Superb and professional and most important of all for me was the fact that Dr Demirtaş responded personally to all my questions before, during and after surgery. I am an over-thinker and believe me I had lots of questions!!! I travelled to Istanbul from the UK alone so it was important to have this reassurance. The hospital Dr Demirtaş works from was also top quality and I was allocated my own translator who accompanied me right up to the moment I entered theatre. She was a real blessing. I have waited until 3 months post surgery to post this review so I can give an honest review of the results. I am more than happy with the results. I am now confident to step out with my legs showing, take part in sports and go swimming and my legs feel so much lighter. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Demirtaş

I am italian my name is Cosima, and only Last year I realized to have lipedema. After one meeting with a doctor in italy I decided to find a right Doctor to solve my problem.. I found Dr. Yener Demirtas on social media an decided to contact him. He answered immediatly and gave me every response.. I realized that he Was the right doctor for me. We organized travel accomodation and transport. I had surgery two days ago, every thing has been fine better than I expected, Doctor has been kind professional and take care about me and my worried minds I also found a Good staff, Akan, expecially , nurses expecially Helena, and great Hospital. I am satisfied about every thing and I will raccoande every body will ask me about lipedema to come in turkey and to have surgery with DR. I followed Dr. Dermitas for quite some time on social media. I wanted to make sure that I’d pick the right doctor and I did. He has over 15 years of experience with lipedema and it shows. He is very experienced and does a lot of surgeries. The first thing someone in the hospital told me they know his name because he has a lot of surgeries scheduled. Excellent! He was always available for my questions before and after and gave me security with any concerns I’ve had. He did an amazing job with my surgery and I can’t wait for the end result after the healing year.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 lipedema back in March and was devastated to find out what was causing my weight gain along with the swelling and pain in my legs. Lipedema is not a well known disease in Canada and it is not covered by our health care system. I immediately began doing research and found lipedema to be well known and recognized in Europe. From there I began looking for a doctor who specializes in lipedema surgery as I knew I would have to travel outside of Canada to get the help I needed. I researched quite a few doctors and narrowed in on Dr. Yener. After reviewing his website and social media accounts, I knew he would be the one to perform my surgery. From our initial interaction right up until my departure from Turkey, Dr. Yener has been there every step of the way. Not only did he answer all of my questions within a timely manner, he also coordinated accommodations at the hotel along with transportation from the airport, hotel, office and hospital.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Demirtas. Very easy booking, great organization (taxi, hotel, hospital), he and his assistance are very friendly. The surgery went very well and the recovery is going great. I really recommend him if you suffer from lipodema!

Mit der ganzen Prozedere war ich Zufrieden. Ich empfehle es jedem, wo selber betroffen ist. Die Klinik ist sehr gut Ausgestattet rundum wird man sehr gut betreut. Es gibt keine sprachliche Probleme Englisch spricht der Operateur. Auch nach der Entlassung kann man jederzeit mit dem Operateur Kontakt aufnehmen und es bleiben keine Fragen offen. Er hatte gesagt, dass am 3. Monat nach der OP die Beine sich total ändern werden. Das stimmte, bin vollkommen mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Für schmerzfrei Beine und Arme ist es Wert!

My name is Anna , I have had lipodema my whole life and in Canada doctors neglect the disease and don’t diagnose it . They tell you to workout and diet . For so many years I have diet and workout nothing would change. Years of my legs getting bigger not knowing why i slowly start googling about a diseases called lipodema and found Dr . Yener in Turkey . I flew from Canada got my surgery September 19 2023, its been 4 days and my recovery is amazing. I have chosen him to do the surgery he has so many certificates and education about the disease. This man was very professional answering all my questions anytime of day even before me flying to Turkey . I consulted many doctors before choosing to have my lipedema surgery with Dr. Demirtaş. Dr Demirtaş gave me the right diagnosis and provided honest recommendations, he knows what he is doing and have an excellent knowledge of the disease. My surgery went very well and smoothly without any complications.
