It is an utter scam! I cant believe I was so nieve. I am completely ashamed and horrified and left with nothing but misery and debt! It shouldn't be legal to prey on people when they are feeling so desperate they will do anything! Please trust me when I tell you, I would hate for anyone else to end up in my position

i had the balloon in February and have lost 3.5 stone, yes its not easy and some people suffer side effects however this is not the case with everyone. The initial first couple of days are hard but i then started to feel amazing. Weight loss isnt easy and you do have to work at it but if you use the balloon as a tool it definately works.

I wish I had seen the reviews prior to getting the ballon, my experience is my own and genuine. I went for the ballon last week. After I had it in, I was not able to keep anything down including liquid. The abdominal pain which was out of this world. The 7 days until the ballon was out was one of the most difficult days of my life it was no less than giving birth and hyperemesis. I was also admitted to A and E. (On a side note, I have no issues with the clinic I had it inserted and removed) In this whole process, the term “emergency line” is very misleading, it is not an emergency line, it’s a general advice line from the gastric nurses, the ballon group with not facilitate any form of emergency treatment or services during your journey. I had the ballon inserted on Thursday, Saturday I asked them to take it out and it took them 5 days to give me an appointment to get it removed. I had severe reflux, bowel symptoms, cramps, my mouth and lips were so dry. I have never been so dehydrate

I did a lot of research before having this procedure done. I am so pleased that I chose this company as everyone I have dealt with from the start of my journey from the surgeon, the nurses and the support team have all been amazing. There has been no judgement at all and they understand that everyone is different and give you the help and support you need. It is tailored to fit you. I am super greatful to everyone for the help they have given me

Great company guided me everystep of the way and lots of support

This is the WORST form of weight loss surgery you might aswell throw five grand in the bin the balloon does nothing at all oh apart from make your stomach bigger so then you obviously eat more myself and others I know went with this company and had this procedure and all agree it’s a complete scam it dosent make you fill fuller and you only loose weight in the first week because you. Are constantly throwing up please don’t get this done it’s such a waist of money and if anything makes you eat more

OMG having the balloon was the best thing I ever did! I lost nearly 3 stone during lockdown and the support I have received from the Gastric Balloon Group has been fantastic which has helped me to maintain my weight loss.

The gastric ballon doesn't work. Do not waste your money. You will not lose weight but you will lose your money. The weight loss of the small minority who lose some weight, seems to do so after lots of sickness and vomiting which surely isn't healthy. Gastric Ballon Group, used hard sell techniques and unethical marketing to sell my auntie a ballon that doesn't work. She was desesperated to lose weight for health reasons, getting into debt to pay for the ballon. From reading various reviews online, my auntie is among others who had a bad experience with this company.

I'd highly recommend GBG. They are a great team and very supportive and have made my journey very easy. Thank you to all team for your amazing job

Went from a one star to four, because the whole process hasn't been smooth however - since a cancer diagnosis they have bent over backwards to get the balloon removed for me and became more supportive. The company has room to improve but is run by lovely people overall.
