I saw Mr Karoshi for a second opinion due to heavy menstrual bleeding. I would highly recommend Mr Karoshi - he listened to my problems, made good plans for my treatment and he also made sure to follow through. I am very happy to have found Mr Karoshi. He is not the type of doctor just treating you as his “next patient” but he genuinely cares.

I had complex myomectomy surgery with Mr. Karoshi and Mr. Vivek Nama, and I am extremely happy with the level of care I received. From the pre-surgery conversation, both surgeons visited my hospital room to explain the procedure and address my concerns. I was meeting Mr. Vivek Nama for the first time and feeling very nervous, but their reassurance helped calm me. The surgery went smoothly, and I received numerous bedside visits from Mr. Karoshi each morning. His patience and care were incredible—I felt like I was his only patient! Even after I was discharged, Mr. Karoshi called to check in on my recovery, which was much better than I had expected. I attribute this smooth recovery to the excellent care I received. For anything fibroid-related, I highly recommend both Mr. Karoshi and Mr Nama. Thank you for your outstanding work—please continue making a difference!

I highly recommend Dr Karoshi. I was feeling pain on my lower right stomach which I had to be admitted for- ovarian cyst. After speaking to a specialist who did not have any feelings and just scared me to death, I had a second opinion from Dr Karoshi. He explained everything to me as someone who is not in the medical field. I showed him my CT scans and he pointed out to me what the radiologist is actually seeing- no one did that for me. He patiently answered all my questions - no question was stupid or ridiculous to him. He was by the book and explained the whole process of what is going to happen after my MRI scan and the surgery- the other specialist wanted to head straight into surgery. I decided there and then that he was going to be my surgeon. The surgery went as planned and am recovering well without any complaints as we speak.

I would highly recommend Mr Karoshi. He is such a warm friendly approachable man, who you always feel is being honest and doing his very best for you. He explains everything to you and has endless patience, and stays very calm and reassuring even when you may be flapping. He is also very modest. And on top of that he is a fantastic skilled surgeon, who I would have no hesitation in recommending to every woman with gynecologic problems. Such a lovely man. I highly recommend Mr Karoshi! He is extremely professional, attentive, a great listener and calming. He doesn’t jump to conclusions and sees things fully through to the end, which I greatly appreciate. I am an anxious and fast-paced New Yorker, but he had me take a deep breath and not jump to the next step (my husband really appreciated this!). I am beyond thankful for Mr Karoshi. He suggested I begin treatment outside his practice as I would have a better result (he doesn’t handle this treatment) and personally passed me to amazing and trusted specialists.
