I paid £100 to secure an appointment with Dr. Frati. Less than 24 hours later, I contacted his secretary to cancel, as the appointment was still three months away. I was told the fee was non-refundable. While I understand protecting a doctor’s time, refusing a refund within 24 hours for an appointment so far in the future feels unreasonable and poor practice. In my view, this policy is unfair to patients and comes across as more interested in keeping money than providing a professional service.
