Dr. Jeff R. Cortés is originally from the city of Monterrey and studied Surgeon and Midwifery at the School of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). During the last year of his degree, he was awarded a scholarship to finish his medical studies at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He carried out his social service in the municipality of Santiago, Nuevo León and after passing the national exam for medical residencies he was accepted to carry out a specialty in Urology at the University Hospital "Dr. José E. González” from the UANL. During the residency, he showed interest in research and healthcare excellence. He completed rotations in Urology Oncology at the Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland and published several scientific articles that allowed him to obtain the resident of the year award for two consecutive terms and to be chief resident.

Yo conozco al Dr y se que es un Buen especialista por eso lo busque. Hice mi cita el Lunes 9 de Mayo por telefono y me comentaron que tenia dispobilidad para el martes 9 de Mayo a las 11AM, el martes me prepare para la cita pero quize confirmar que estaba en lo correcto entrando a mi mail y para mi sorpresa la cita la agendaron para Miercoles 11 de Mayo. Confirme cita por telefono y por mail, acudi a la misma puntualmente y despues de 30 minutos me comentan que el Dr estaba fuera de la ciudad desde el 6 de Mayo y que me podia atender su asistente (Residente de la especialidad). No considero correcto que te hagan cita con el Dr y que despues te digan que te a atender alguien mas. Creo que deben de comunicarse bien el Dr con el personal que agenda citas para evitar estas incomodidades. Mi experiencia como paciente esta vez no fue nada buena porque tuve que mover otras cosas.
