Sin duda fue nuestra mejor elección para controlar el embarazo y traer al mundo a nuestra bebé. Tuvimos un equipo inmejorable: las doctoras María Espinosa, Leyre Navarro y Lucía Romo, nuestro matrón Eduardo Castellano y por supuesto quien llevó el embarazo desde el primer momento la doctora Elisa Díaz de Terán. Gracias al equipo que tuvimos una vez que estuvimos en la habitación, pediatras y enfermeras (Belén y Raquel mil gracias por todo). No tenemos palabras para agradecer tanto profesionalismo, cuidado y cariño para con nosotros y nuestra bebé.

A finales del pasado mes de enero acudí a la consulta del Dr. Álvaro Iborra Marcos, jefe de la unidad de Cirugía de Pie y Tobillo del Hospital Universitario de la Zarzuela. Tras una antigua cirugía compleja en otro hospital, en la que me extirparon el peroné, varios nervios de la pierna y pie quedaron afectados provocando que mi dedo gordo del pie derecho quedara atrofiado, retractandose por debajo del pie y sin ningún tipo de movilidad. Esto me provocaba dolor en el propio pie, lo cual me obligaba a modificar mi pisada para intentar mitigarlo. Esa especie de cojera me provocaba a su vez dolores en la rodilla y cadera. Incluso calzarme llegó a ser algo complicadísimo para mí, casi una pesadilla. Estaba desesperada y visité a muchos especialistas que no me daban esperanza. Por casualidad, encontré en la web al Dr. Iborra del que sólo leí cosas positivas. Decidí ir a verlo, cómo última consulta y fue mi salvación. Desde el principio él lo vio claro.
