Dr. Serkan Ilhan

Dr. Serkan İlhan, a distinguished Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon, completed their medical education at Ankara University Medical Faculty between 2004-2011. In 2004, they undertook a year-long English course, enabling them to communicate proficiently in English. Dr. İlhan possesses a keen interest in diverse languages and cultures, having participated in an Erasmus exchange in Naples, Italy, where they also acquired a basic understanding of the Italian language.

Following their university studies, Dr. İlhan briefly worked at Elazığ Harput Hospital Emergency hospital before passing the specialization exam and commencing their specialization at Akdeniz University Medical Hospital in 2012. During their specialization from 2012 to 2017, Dr. İlhan actively participated in 4 face transplant and 2 bilateral hand transplant surgeries. They furthered their expertise through an internship at Seconda University degli Napoli in 2011 and an observership at Sahlgrenska University Hospital Hand Surgery Department in Gothenburg, Sweden, from March to April 2016.

After completing their training in plastic reconstructive aesthetic surgery, Dr. İlhan worked at Aksaray Education Hospital from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, they furthered their knowledge through a microsurgery scholarship in Taiwan, focusing on body restoration, lipoedema, and lymphedema with Prof Hung Chin Chen. In 2019, Dr. İlhan joined the Memorial hospital groups as a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon.

After gaining valuable experience in private hospitals, Dr. İlhan decided to establish their own clinic. In 2021, they opened the Private Cosmetic Center in Şirinyalı/Muratpaşa, conveniently located near the Private Yaşam Hospital and Akra Barut Hotel. At their clinic, Dr. İlhan and their team offer a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical treatments, including botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, and PRP treatments, providing exceptional care to patients from around the world.
