Deciding to Go For It
I’ll be honest—going all the way to Turkey from England for a hair transplant had me a bit on edge at first. It’s not exactly a trip down the road, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after digging into Fibemed’s reviews and seeing how many people raved about them, I thought, “Why not?” Their reputation gave me the push I needed, and looking back, I’m chuffed I took the chance.
First Impressions
When I rocked up at the clinic, any nerves I had just melted away. The staff were dead friendly and spoke cracking English, which was a big relief for me. They took their time during the consultation, walking me through everything and answering all my silly questions without batting an eyelid. The place itself was proper modern—clean as a whistle and kitted out with all the latest stuff. Straight away, I felt like I’d picked the right spot.
The Procedure Itself
The day of the transplant was a bit of a marathon, but the team kept me comfy throughout. They were absolute pros—knew their stuff inside out and kept me clued in on what was happening. It wasn’t a barrel of laughs, mind you, but they made it as smooth as possible. The surgeon was top-tier, and the nurses were always popping in to check on me. It didn’t feel like I was just another number—they genuinely seemed to care.
The Aftercare
Once it was all done, the aftercare was spot on. They gave me a proper rundown of how to look after myself and didn’t leave me guessing. Over the next few weeks, they kept in touch to see how I was holding up. I had a couple of panicky moments early on—wondering if everything was healing right—but they were always there on the phone to calm me down. That kind of support really matters when you’re so far from home.
