About Us

Op. Dr. Çiğdem Karas was born in 1978 in Bursa. Demonstrating leadership early on, she was elected as the Youth Representative of Bursa province in 1993, representing the Turkish Prime Ministry General Directorate of Youth and Sports. During her youth, she excelled as a licensed swimmer for the Bursa Municipality Sports team, earning medals in various competitions over six years.

Dr. Karas pursued her medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2000. While at Ege University, she not only excelled academically but also served as the Swimming Team Captain, concluding her successful swimming career upon graduation.

In 2000, Dr. Karas commenced her specialty training at Dokuz Eylül University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She dedicated five years to her specialization, during which she conducted significant research. In 2005, she earned her specialty title by presenting her thesis, "The Effect of Low Dose Hormone Replacement Therapy on Cardiovascular and Coagulation System."

Dr. Çiğdem Karas is renowned for her expertise in gynecology, with a focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. Her dedication to women's health and her extensive background in both medicine and athletics highlight her commitment to excellence and holistic patient care.
