About Us
In 1990, I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, marking the beginning of my journey in the medical field.
As an ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience, my professional interests and activities revolve around various specialties. I am deeply passionate about refractive surgery, utilizing advanced technologies such as Femto and excimer lasers, as well as performing cataract surgeries with Femto laser technology. Additionally, I have a strong focus on treating retinal diseases through vitreoretinal surgery and managing glaucoma. With a vast experience of more than 30,000 surgical cases, I am committed to providing the best possible care to my patients in these specialized areas.
Experience
During my career, I had the honor of serving as the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology from 2001 to 2010. I also held various leadership roles within the Turkish Ophthalmological Association, including President of the Diyarbakır Regional Branch from 2000 to 2004, and a position on the Administrative Board from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, I was involved in organizing the 44th and 45th National Congresses as part of the National Congress Organization Committee in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Furthermore, I contributed to the field as a member of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association Certification Board (TOCB) Administrative Board from 2009 to 2011.
Education & Training
In 2010, I completed my studies at Dicle University, and since then, I have embarked on a fulfilling career in medicine. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working at esteemed institutions, including Kent Hospital in 2014, Ekol Hospital in 2018, and currently, I am dedicated to serving at İzmir Private Can Hospital and my own Private Clinic.
