My journey in medicine started at the Faculty of Medicine at Ege University, where I began practicing as a general practitioner. Following this, I continued my education by specializing in emergency medicine and occupational health, before pursuing a specialization in Biochemistry at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
As a specialist, working in both public and private hospitals has given me the opportunity to touch the lives of many people and observe their conditions closely. During this time, my observations have led me to believe that there may be underlying causes for patients' complaints that cannot be explained solely by Western medicine. I have found that Western medicine tends to focus on suppressing the presenting symptoms rather than addressing the root cause, and this has prompted me to question more deeply.
