Ph. Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar

Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon who graduated from Ankara University in 1992 and completed his specialization in 2001 at Istanbul University. He received training in plastic surgery during his residency in Cambridge, Aylesbury, and Glasgow. He received the "Experimental Research Award" in 2001 and the "Best Poster Presentation Award" in 2004 for his studies on skin-muscle flap and microsurgical transfers in pediatric head and neck reconstruction. He has worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei.

Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar performs his surgeries at Acibadem Maslak Hospital, Acibadem Altunizade Hospital and the American Hospital, these hospitals are among the leading and prestigious hospitals in Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar became an Associate Professor in 2007 and received the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Competency Certificate. He passed the competency exam by the European Association of Plastic Surgeons and received the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery certificate in 2008. He was a faculty member at Acibadem University Faculty of Medicine since 2008 and served as the Head of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department from 2015-2017. He specializes in aesthetic surgery and has published many scientific articles and continues to be an active educator. He runs a clinic in Nişantaşı, "Şükrü Yazar Clinic", since 2017 where he performs both surgical and non-surgical medical aesthetics procedures and provides Mental Health and Nutrition Counseling services.
