He graduated from Inonu University Medical Faculty in 1997. In 1998, he completed his residency in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases at the same department with his professors, whom he considers lifelong mentors. He began his academic career as a founding faculty member of the Dermatology and Venereal Diseases Department at the newly established Afyon Kocatepe University. After serving as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor there for almost 10 years, he started at Izmir Katip Celebi University in 2012 and became a professor in 2013. He currently serves in the field of clinical/aesthetic dermatology at his own clinic, ESTE CLN.
