Born in 1976 in Izmir, Prof. Dr. Murat Songu, MD, embarked on his medical journey at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 following his graduation from İzmir Atatürk High School. He completed his specialized training in Otorhinolaryngology at Celal Bayar University.

In 2005, he honed his skills in rhinologic and otologic surgeries alongside Dr. Guy Lacher at St. Augustin Clinic and Prof. Vincent Darrouzet at the University of Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France.

The following year, in 2006, he further expanded his expertise in skull base surgery, cochlear implantation (bionic ear), and cerebellum corner tumor surgery, collaborating with Dr. Didier Portmann at Institut Georges Portmann Clinic and Prof. Vincent Darrouzet at Pellegrin Hospital, affiliated with Bordeaux University.

Prof. Dr. Murat Songu is currently working in his own clinic which is located in Alsancak / İzmir.

Dr. Songu serves over 500 hundred patients per year.

My consultation with Dr. Murat was a dream come true. The facilities were appealing, clean, and most importantly relaxing. The atmosphere in the office was great. All staff were friendly and extremely accommodating! Quick and painless. The recovery was not quick, but it was painless. I had a decent amount of bruising and swelling but was perfectly equipped with prescriptions to get me through.

My recovery went really well and I was surprised to have less bruising and swelling than I thought I would. I was nervous to get the cast off as I'd heard stories about people having super swollen noses and crying at their results, but my nose looked AMAZING right after the cast came off! I'm now almost 4 weeks out and am SO happy with my nose. I could not be more pleased with the results and cannot wait to see it when it's fully healed!
