Mr. Makarand Tare

We are privileged to introduce Mr. Makarand “Mak” Tare, an accomplished Consultant Plastic Surgeon practicing in Essex and London. His unwavering dedication to surgery was evident from the early stages of his medical training, and he chose to specialize in Plastic Surgery in 1994 due to his fascination with the perfect amalgamation of Art and Science in the realm of Reconstructive Surgery. Mr. Tare has continuously honed his skills through extensive training and fellowships across prestigious institutions in the UK and beyond, focusing on complex reconstructive microsurgery and cosmetic procedures.

His vast experience allows him to offer a wide range of services, from challenging cases of upper and lower limb reconstruction, skin cancer, and abdominal wall reconstruction in his role as an NHS Consultant at renowned hospitals, to performing an entire spectrum of cosmetic surgeries in the private sector. Patient care is at the heart of his practice, and he approaches each individual with genuine compassion, actively listening to their desires and expectations to provide personalized treatment plans. In addition to his surgical prowess, Mr. Tare is deeply committed to education and frequently engages in teaching and supporting future generations of doctors and Plastic surgeons.
