Was with Allan for about 6 months, highly recommended. He helped me immensely.

Allan is an absolute gent and helped me declutter my thoughts and feelings. I thought it would be a long and difficult journey but it was a relaxed atmosphere, and in that comfortable safe space I began to see myself and like myself … just me as I am! It never once felt like a stuffy therapy session…. Allan says it like it is, and therefore I could too. He is a genuinely likeable, nice guy with a sense of humour and I’d highly recommend him !!

I found Allan to be a very kind and patient therapist. I felt more understood than any other previous experience with talk therapy. Our sessions were easy going and this helped me feel at ease. I found myself being much more patient with myself. I would definitely recommend him.

No summation would be fitting enough. Alan helped undo years of damage past and present, in a very short amount of time (Testiment to his gift) and helped me make sense of what was happening during my state of phycosis. I never thought I'd laugh or be able to be proud again. Alan helped save my life and I cannot recommened or say enough good things about him. Strongly recommened his service and forever grateful to him.

Sometimes it takes a very special event to make you realise you need external help. Allan was that help for me and over the last few years, he's been of great help to me. If I could give him 6 stars I would.

Allan has been excellent to deal with since I started counselling with him. He made me feel extremely comfortable and helped to draw topics that I had previously struggled with. His sense of humour and ability to empathise with my situation made it easier to discuss any issues with him. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I started seeing Allan process/finally deal with childhood trauma that was buried but came to the surface in my early 30's. From the first counselling appointment, I felt I'd made the right choice with choosing Allan. I was comfortable, felt listened to and valued. I would 100% recommend Allan's service to anyone who is struggling with anything in their life. I'm all the better for taking the steps needed, to understand and process the issues I'd experienced.

I had a bad experience with another therapist, I searched online and found Allen. I read all his 5-star reviews and I contacted him, I had reached a very low point in my life at that time. I can honestly say I made more progress with my problems after the first two visits to Allen than I had made after one year with my previous therapist. He is an excellent therapist and a real gentleman, I will be forever grateful to him for the way he treated me. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of help.

Since day 1 Allan has given me the time and space to feel heard and understood. He has done this naturally in a relaxed, non-judgemental, respectful, light-hearted and empathetic way. I have gained awareness, perspective and strength both mentally and emotionally from our sessions. Therapy is not an easy thing to go through but working with Allan makes the journey a little easier. I had tried so many different things to help with anxiety over the years but Allan at Kildare Psychotherapy has been by far the best. It was a big help to deal with underlying issues causing my problems and discover more about myself. It was exactly what I needed to start progressing with my life. I can highly recommend the clinic.
