I used booking surgery in July 2022 for a Gastric Sleeve with Dr Ali Tardu and managed to lose 9 stone. The care I received was excellent and I then decided to return in March 2025 for plastic surgery to remove the excess skin from my weight loss I booked through my coordinator Isabel who arranged my surgery with Dr Emin Atli for a 360FDL, Mons Lift, Muscle Repair and Arm lift. On arriving at Istanbul I was met by the transfer team and taken to Optimed International Hospital. The hospital was very clean and the nurses were very attentive, helpful and caring. The translators Jake, Chris and Olive couldn’t do enough for you they were so helpful and helped order in dinner/food etc they set up the Netflix in my room and made sure I had everything I needed. Dr Emin was very lovely and spoke good English with help of the translators I was made to feel informed and at ease during the whole process. The pre op tests were thorough and I was given the findings in a report in English to take home along with a copy of my blood results. The op itself was very successful and I’m overjoyed so far at my results. Dr Emin was in each morning following surgery to check on me and my recovery. I would 100% recommend anyone looking to book plastic surgery to use Dr Emin at booking surgery as I cannot fault the service I have received it has been exceptional from start to finish!

Excellent service from beginning to end, my coordinator Brandon made my experience with Booking Surgery extremely easy and clear. He did guide me through every step, from choosing their company, traveling to Istanbul and back. Medistanbul hospital and the team were absolutely amazing, Dr.Kağan Katar was the main sergeant during my gastric sleeve surgery, he and his team took excellent care of me during the operation and my recovery in the hospital. Overall the experience from booking the surgery to departure was easy. Initially my co-ordinator was very helpful but closer to surgery date there was poor communication which was unsettling. The transfer from airport to hospital was comfortable and Yasam hospital was very clean and tidy. The initial admission process was quite lacking, it felt like we were not expected and we were placed in a room for 2 hours before knowing what was going to happen. Following this, the entire process and experience was great. Booking surgery staff were always available and the hospital nursing staff were also eager to help. Although one small thing to note, maybe due to being busy at the time of requests or having a high workload, requests for pain relief or needing support were delayed or forgotten which made me feel like a pest to ask repeatedly. I work for a hospital and understand how sometimes not being able to meet demands straight away can make you feel as a staff member bad but also a little irritated so it’s a catch 22 feeling. BUT overall, using Booking Surgery to coordinate my surgery and their staff to help to communicate with the nursing staff and surgeon is second to none. One BIG piece of advice, research your surgeon, anaesthetist and hospital, these are the people working on you and keeping you alive…. Booking surgery are your agent linking you to who you want. Massive shout out to Mustafá, my booking surgery interpreter at Yasam Hospital, Tekirdag. His manner, personality was very calm, attentive and made me feel like he was interested in what I was talking about and took his time to discuss anything I needed. An absolute credit to the team!! I am definitely going back for further surgeries through booking surgery and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Absolutely incredible! From start to finish my experience has been five star! The people the translators the hospital the surgeon everything was perfect, Can’t fault this company! I had a 360 tummy tuck FDL and arm lift two weeks ago. my surgeon was dr mehmet Emin atli and this man is magic. Over the moon with my results! Seail was a Fantastic help! She made sure I had everything I needed when ever I needed it! 24hour care. Also the translators were brilliant. Chris and mehmet aluif spoke great English and would always be there to help. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m back home now, and they have kept in contact to make sure I’m ok and healing well. So happy I did research and found such a fab company! Everything went as well as expected. As soon as I arrived to the hospital tests where done straight away before going to my room. Everyone has been very kind and informative, even those who spoke very little English would use Google translate and made sure you understood them before leaving. I am more than happy with my stay here.

I had my first surgery here 19 months ago and returned for a second surgery. The care was fantastic! I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

My wife had gastric sleeve done at yasam hospital , the care and attention to detail was incredible.she was very well looked after . From start to finish all the staff were incredible. She was checked every hour on the hour . If she needed anything they got it straight away . The surgeon checked on and explained what he had done . We even opted to have the video for £20 . The aftercare was fantastic I can’t say enough of the care and attention she received from all the staff .the room was clean and very large . They even feed me 3 times a day and I could help my self to tea , coffee and snacks.They have given us all the paper work for the uk plus the drugs that she needs for the next few weeks . Rick our coordinator gave us all the information and if we had any questions, he got back to us extremely quick. Once again thanks you so much for everything

I had a gastric sleeve here on Monday 22nd July and couldn’t be more pleased. Everything was so smooth and stress free from my initial contact to returning home yesterday I’ve never felt more supported with anything I’ve ever done. The nurses, cleaners, translators, surgeons couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Thank you so so much booking surgery! I couldn’t recommend this place enough ❤️ Ps. Myself and my friend flew out to Istanbul on the 27th of June for our surgery at Yaşam hospital, we were greeted promptly by our transfer who was lovely, he took our bags and ensured our car journey was comfortable. We arrived at Yaşam hospital and everyone was so lovely and friendly we met with 5 different translators over our hospital stay and they were all brilliant and made us feel at ease with everything that was going on. They were also so bubbly and happy which made our experience even better. Our surgeon was Dr Katar, he’s a lovely man and a fantastic surgeon he visits you on the day of surgery, after surgery and before you go home to ensure your happy with everything and if there is anything needed. From the moment you arrive at Yaşam hospital you are given a full MOT to ensure you are fit for surgery. Bloods taken, ultrasound on tummy and legs, xray, ecg, temperature taken, breathing test, ultrasound of your heart. Bloods are taken daily after surgery to check for infections, pain relief, antibiotics and fluids are given round the clock. Yaşam nursing team are amazing!! Always in hand when you need them and are absolutely lovely patient and kind. I was being a bit of a pain and ended up having six cannulas fitted and each time I asked for a new one to be fitted they were happy to do so. The two male nurses were so funny and never failed to make me and my friend laugh. Honestly I couldn’t fault the whole team at bookingsurgery they are all amazing including cleaning and catering staff and we will definitely be back in the near future

I feel completely safe in the hands of Basak when it comes to operations. I have had several procedures that she has managed, from bookings to doctors, and everything went smoothly without any issues both in recovery and results. However, one time I tried other people and unfortunately got terrible results. I regretted it deeply because it was so bad that it became difficult to fix, and not many doctors were willing to help me either. Fortunately, I had Basak to turn to, and she was very committed to helping me. She managed to fix the issues, essentially saving me. I would never recommend going anywhere other than where Basak chooses to send me.

5 days PO, I cannot recommend Yasam hospital enough everyone is ABSOLUTELY lovely and couldn’t do anymore for you. The rooms are fantastic and absolutely spotless cleaner comes in regularly even though not much needed to be done. The staff are out of this world, so kind and friendly even though some had a language barrier but nothing google translater didn’t sort out lol. Everything is so organised and thorough. All your tests are done straightaway no messing about you literally get a full body MOT 😂 you see numerous different doctors day of surgery for different tests and even psychiatrist. Dr Katar is fantastic aswell comes and meets you day of surgery and then check in on you every morning afterwards. I was really nervous the day I got there and had mixed emotions was I doing the right thing but that was because I was tired and hadn’t eaten anything and potentially because it was my first flight. But once you meet the other patients and get talking it really did lift me up a lot you build friendships with these people and walk along the corridor after op and check up on each other. Also MASSIVE shout out to Oscar my interpreter he is such a refreshing and bubbly person always put a smile on my face. And nothing was too much trouble for him he would help you out with literally anything❤️❤️❤️ I’m so happy I took the plunge and chose to go with booking surgery I cannot wait to begin this journey and finally see my results. I will 1000% be back for plastics to yasam hosiptal next year. Thank you to everyone.

I can't even begin to explain how excellent this company is. I had a gastric sleeve surgery by the brilliant Dr Ali Tardu 2 days ago at the Optimed Hospital in Istanbul, today I feel completely fine and I went out shopping to the local mall. The care is incredible and the service from the translators are so lovely and become your best best friends while you're here. Everything was explained to me clearly and I have never been in safer hands. Special thanks to Amy and Ashleigh who made me feel completely at ease. Also my coordinator Rossie who was excellent and answered my many questions and provided me with tons of information so as I fully understood the whole process before I even confirmed my booking. I decided to do the without a companion and I felt perfectly safe, happy and looked after the whole time. The surgeon came to meet me on the day followed by the anesthetist and doctor. They are very friendly and efficient, the nurses are excellent and very gentle. The hospital is immaculate, extremely clean and very modern, my room was cleaned twice a day. The rooms are very comfortable, WiFi is great, Netflix provided plenty of entertainment. A tip I found useful to bring an extension lead with a travel adaptor so as you can plug all your thing in easily. I had a laptop, phone, ear pods power bank for travelling etc. I cannot thank you enough, what a fabulous team! I can't wait for my transformation!

I am writing this review on the behalf of my partner who has recently used this company for a recent surgery. I will start from the beginning, we was picked up from the airport by a lovely man "Ali" he took us to the hospital he couldn't have been more helpful with the bags and also had some water in the mini bus for us. We was met at the hospital by the translator who booked us both in. I stayed with my partner as a support guest. Took us to the room explaining the buttons to call the nurse and how to use the Netflix. Tests started straight away blood tests and COVID and scans.. the level of care is amazing. The next day surgery happened all went well and the after care is amazing. No messing about they get you out of bed walking around within four hours and are amazing. As a person who was basically watching I was impressed with the care all the nurses are brilliant. I was also fed well and looked after. They even helped us with little.things like putting ear rings back in and they always happy to help and you can have a good chat with them depending on their English.

Excellent care taken and the process has been easy from booking to having the surgery. I have had bariatric surgery at Optimed by Dr Ali Tardu with Bookingsurgery. My only negative is that time here works differently - expect 15 mins to be around an hour or so and you’ll be fine 😊 Translators have been very kind and helpful, nurses are all lovely and very friendly and the cleaners are also smily and helpful. Medical care has been great too and I feel they’ve been very thorough from pre op testing through the aftercare (E.g., ongoing bloods) - more than I got in the UK!

I used booking surgery for revision surgery from gastric sleeve to full bypass. My surgeon was Dr Ali Tardu. The whole experience has been amazing. You are assigned a co-ordinater for the whole process. You are picked up from the airport and have a private transfer straight to the hospital. Loads of tests before your surgery. Everyone is amazing! The cleaners, nurses, translators and surgeons and worth their weight in gold. The day before you leave you get all your paper work and test results to take home with you, including operation notes. This company is amazing and I wouldn’t book through anyone else

Im currently at medicine hospital and just wanted to share my experience. I flew out 2 years ago and had weight loss surgery with a companion and have come back with the same company booking surgery to get further plastics. The care is absolutly brilliant that i felt comfortable to come back here on my own this time. i had a delay on my flight which even still caused no problem with my transport. The guide helped me and had all my details at hand so i had no worries as to where i was going. When i arrived at 12am i was greeted by such a polite bouncy happy translator morgan hes been such a pleasure. Only works during the night but im a night owl and even at 4am hes still been there to chat too and even wanted to help when i was just making a cup of tea 😆 could not fault him at all! . They got me to my room and then took me down for my pre op ultrasound. Filled my paper work out and gave me an ecg. My surgeon dr soner come and see me in the morning we discussed everything and i went down for surgery soon after..... when i woke up i was estatic at the work he had done. Its completely changed my body and made me feel so much more confident . The after care is amazing they were very consistant with pain relief and antibiotics. If i needed anything or had any questions i would just press the nurse button and they were there... The in patient coodinator salim would come and visit to make sure i was ok and see if there was anything else i needed. Im getting ready to go home on saturday but just wanted to thank dr soner for completely transforming me the nurses for looking after me . Morgan for being a chirpy happy face to talk to in the middle of the night and salim for going the extra mile in making sure i was ok and answering any questions or worries i had. In fact everyone has made my stay here a good one i have not been nervous at all. So thanks all the staff with booking surgery 🥰

My experience at Medicine hospital has been very positive. I've had extended tt, breast reduction and uplift. Dr Soner has done a fantastic job. I expected to have more pain but it has been minimal. The nurses, coordinators and translators especially Morgan have been fantastic. I will definitely return in the future.

Arrived at medicine hospital and have nothing bad to say about the staff/service, everything went smoothly and staff take really good care of you, the surrounding area of medicine hospital can be noisy so I recommend taking ear plugs or being able to drown out noise but overall what an amazing experience

I had a Fleur de Lis booked through Booking Surgery and performed by Dr Ahmet Kormutlu. I was very apprehensive at first and scared. The coordinator responded quickly to any questions I had and offered reassurance throughout. Whilst here my companion and I have been treated well and nothing was too much trouble. I had a full health MOT before the surgery and guided through each stage. The support staff including Serhat, Nadia & Salim were all so helpful - great support. I’m so pleased with my results, the package I’ve been given for aftercare and follow up offered by Dr Ahmet. For anyone in two minds - go for it! Excellent service by Booking Surgery, great results

Myself and my mum both went to Turkey on 6th December both for a gastric sleeve and the experience we had was 5 star from the pickup at airport to the meeting rooms was enormous and spotless cleaned couple times a day I myself is terrified of needles and was very scared but all the nurses and staff was amazing nothing was too much for them and always checking on us constantly also since I've been home they have contacted me to ask how we are and the dietary person done a meeting overall the experience was amazing and any future surgery I will be using booking surgery as is my few friends next year the best out there 😀 ❤️ xx

From the moment we arrived to going home the care and attention we have received has been 1st class. All the staff from the cleaners (twice a day) to our Drs and Nurses which most speak English and also translators have been overwhelming with their care. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I had my surgery 3 days ago I’m a little sore and tender but the after care and the whole experience has been incredible! Salem and April have been amazing in translating for us any questions we have had. All the nursers care assistance surgeons and cleaners are all super friendly. I can’t thank them enough.

I had the gastric sleeve on Monday the 3rd of October 2022 at BHT Clinic. My experience has been great everyone has been very friendly and helpful I have been very well looked after. The clinic is very clean and the rooms are spacious the shower is lovely. The nurses are amazing and are always there for you when you need them.

The care from start to finish has been great, the translators, nurses, cleaners and dr are all super friendly and caring.

Booking.surgery medicine hospital was 10/10 experience from the translators to the cleaners and the nurses. I was well looked after and they were super accommodating to my partner who flew out to me the next day! Selum and Mike were my Co-ordinators and we’re so reassuring and helpful! All questions you have they are happy to answer and always make time! The care itself was too class and I felt extremely comfortable all the way! My translators Matt and April were so so good and I couldn’t thank the team enough! The cleaners were always smiling and giving me hugs and it felt like a real family! 😊 massive thank you to the doctors including Dr Katar who directed my surgery and came to check on me also! This was such a great experience and I cannot thank you all enough! If anyone is looking to get any kind of bariatric surgery this is the place to go! ❤️😊
