I cannot express how happy I have been with my surgery. I should have done it years ago. I lost 4.5 stone in 6 months and have maintained for a further 6 months now. I have dropped from a size 18 to a size 12 clothes size. I would absolutely recommend using Weight Loss Surgery Kent - they have been most supportive in my journey

Mr Hamouda is excellent and I've had a very positive experience of weight loss surgery at Nuffield Tunbridge Wells. My old clothes fit, I have more energy and I feel well.

As a person of my age (72) I was naturally concerned about having this procedure. Fortunately I was put in contact with Mr Hamouda who I found to be very precessional & reassuring Consultation arranged and despite my age I was given the ok to proceed I was so relieved as my weight was a problem and was effecting my health and everyday life The procedure was carried out at The Nuffield Hospital Tunbridge Wells and cannot fault the fantastic overall experience Staff & facilities and especially Mr Hamouda were excellent and caring It’s been a year now and having been monitored very closely by the consultant, Abir the dietary practitioner, in additional I was monitored by a well being practitioner This has changed my life totally having lost in the region of 6 stone, no longer on any diabetic medication, no breathing problems and my whole attitude to life has changed It’s so lovely seeing friends & family and remarking how good you look A big thank you to Mr Hamouda and staff.

My experience of Mr Hamouda and his wonderful team over the last year has been extraordinary. My life has changed following bypass surgery which was with the aim to improve health issues I have had for years. I have felt supported at every stage over the last 15 months since that first contact. Speaking with others who I know have had surgery abroad they haven't had this level of support. To get the best results in terms of nutrition, recovery and to minimise any risks you need this level of follow up. Your health is after all the most important thing. I have been amazed not just by the weight loss in just under 12 months seen in the photo from christmas 2023 (1 month pre surgery) to christmas 2024 (11 months post surgery) but my health overall. I am no longer in pain everyday and able to eat a varied diet after years of restrictions. So grateful to Mr Hamouda for his knowledge and ongoing support. Thank you for the care, support and giving me a new life.

Gastric Band (18/07/17) with Dr. Ahmed Hamouda - amazing surgeon - wounds are so small and neat and in very little pain. Throughout the whole process, I have been happy with Dr. Hamouda. He is realistic, honest and thorough. His team are also amazing and cannot thank his anesthetist enough for putting me at ease before the surgery. It is early days but I am so positive and really pleased with my choice of surgeon. I am a happy customer. Very good! I felt very informed and the teams worked well. The nurses are also great. It does need a bit of money spent on the building as it is slightly oudated.

I had gastric band surgery on 14th January 2017 under Mr Hamouda. My BMI was 34 and I was tired of yo yo dieting and wanted a tool to help me not only lose weight but to stabilise my weight in the long term. I am really pleased with the results, 19lbs loss so far after only 4 weeks. Definitely feel I made the right decision. Mr Hamouda and his team at Benenden Hospital have been fantastic. He is so friendly and explained the whole process really clearly. The surgery was straight forward and I had no complications post operatively. The facilities at Benenden were fantastic and the nursing staff were great. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone thinking of having the surgery. The price was very reasonable and incorporates a year of follow ups and regular access to a dietitian for support.

After struggling with my weight for many years I got to 137kgs before i decided enough was enough and something needed to be done. I opted for a gastric sleeve with the help of Mr Hamouda. It is by far an easy option and it is a tough journey to go through but well worth it. Almost a year since my surgery and I weigh just 83kg. I feel like i have my life back. Mr Hamouda and his team have been absolutely amazing. I couldn't recommend them more! The Nuffield Hospital was clean, modern, and comfortable with attentive staff. I felt like royalty! Mr Hamouda himself has been a complete star and walked through this journey with me and has always been available when I have needed him. After seeing him yesterday for my last appointment I was quite sad, as he has changed my life for the better in a way I couldn't even begin to describe! He will always be a great surgeon in my eyes and a wonderful person :-)

I originally wanted to get a gastric band but after discussion with my surgeon, we opted for the sleeve, after I learnt more about them both. I lost a lot of weight on my pre op diet as the operation kept me going. The operation went well and the private hospitals are all lovely. 9 months later I still see my surgeon every 3 months and have lost 45 kg. I can eat Small portions of food now and more of less anything I want. I want to loss another 8-10kg but I am currently a size 14 and very happy. I have 4 small scars left, all less than inch in size. I'm very happy with my decision to get the sleeve, my surgeon was excellent and I am very pleased with my progress. The clinic I attend is very good, could not fault them. It is a lovely new building. I am never kept waiting , there is always parking and nice staff. My emails are always responded to quickly. Cannot fault my experience.

I had my band surgery in Belgium 10 years ago. There are not many consultants that are willing to complete my fills because of the foreign element until I found Weight Loss Surgery Kent. Every time I have had any contact with WLS, be it phone or e-mail the response has been quick, appointments are good and a good selection of locations to choose from. My last fill did not go as planned, due to medication I was on, but the reason why it was unwise to have a fill was explained in full and whilst disappointed I came away fully understanding that it was in my best interest to leave well alone. I would recommend WLS to anyone that needs any help or assistance with bariatric issues.

I had a gastric band fitted, my BMI was 33 and I was pre diabetic and despite dieting was gaining weight . The procedure was explained to me and I was given time to think about it and told what life would be like afterwards. A year later I have lost 13kg and have a BMI of 26. The weight loss was done slowly and safely and my blood sugar is now normal. Thank you so much ! I have had a great experience, the clinics were not in London but this was reflected in the price and only 1/2 an hour to get there. The clinic was clean, friendly and modern.

I was turned down by NHS for weight loss surgery, I decided to go private as I wanted to improve my health before it was too late. I went to Nuffield at Tunbridge Wells on a date compatible to me and my surgeon Mr Hamouda. We had discussed which operation would be best for me and had decided on a gastric sleeve. The operation went well and my follow up appointments have been held at a hospital closer to home i.e. KIMS at Maidstone. I am very pleased with the outcome, it was worth every penny and my health has improved incredibly already after 4 months. The clinic has a very welcoming atmosphere, the waiting area is comfortable and refreshments are available. I don't have to wait very long for my appointment and Mr Hamouda is very easy to talk to and nothing is too much trouble for him.

I had bariaric surgery under the direcection of Mr Hamouda and his team. I can honestly say that anyone wishing to have this proceedure will not get better treatment or support than I have experienced from this team of experts. They fitted everything around me and what I needed and wanted. From the first consultation, through the surgical process and aftercare, everything was about me! the results have been fantastic and I cannot thank Mr Hamouda, Diane, Jen or the surgical team enough. The hospital where I had my surgery had some issues during my stay, but these have been resolved and had no bearing on the work that Mr Hamouda and his team did for me. From my day of arrival, I saw Mr Hamouda daily, until I checked out. I can honestly say that he and his surgical team were second to none, and I have had a lot of surgeries over the years.! Again thank you from a very happy customer.
