Similar to acupuncture but without the needles, acupressure involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the body. These acupressure points are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body, helping to restore balance and stimulate natural healing processes.
This treatment is now widely available in major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, and is offered in wellness centers, clinics, and specialized massage therapy studios. Acupressure in Turkey is performed by trained practitioners who understand the body’s energy pathways and can identify the right acupressure points for treating specific ailments.
