MD. Achillefs Drogosis

Dr. Achillefs Drogosis, a renowned Urologist Surgeon, addresses the entire spectrum of urological disorders and sexual dysfunctions, following the latest scientific data and guidelines from the European Association of Urology. Born in Athens, Dr. Drogosis studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of L'Aquila in Italy, graduating with top marks and honors (110/110 cum laude). He served as a medical officer in the military and specialized in urology, gaining extensive experience in several hospitals, including the Department of Surgery at the University Hospital of Patras, the Department of Urology at “Elpis” General Hospital of Athens, the Department of Plastic Surgery at “Agios Savvas” Oncology Hospital of Athens, and the Department of Gynecology at the General Hospital of Athens “Georgios Genimatas”.

Dr. Drogosis is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Greek Association of Urology, the European Association of Urology (EAU), and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM). He passed the certification exam of the European Association of Urology and is an effective member of the European Council of Urology (FEBU). Additionally, he holds the title of FECSM (Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine) after completing a course in sexual medicine organized by the University of Thessaloniki and passing the European Union Medical Specialties (UEMS) exams.

Authorized by the Greek Ministry of Health to perform ultrasound examinations, Dr. Drogosis has also conducted research, participating in two clinical studies, one of which was an international multicentre study. He has presented his work at numerous conferences, both national and international, and in 2012, he received the Karl Storz Prize for the best scientific presentation in South-East Europe.
