Prof. Dr. Taner Divrik graduated from Istanbul Heybeliada Naval High School in 1985 and from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He completed his specialization in urology at Izmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital in 1997. In 2004-2005, he received training in Oncological Urology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2008 and as a Professor in 2014.

Taner Hocam, 89 yaşında pek çok başka komplikasyonları da olan babamı son derece başarıyla ameliyat edip, sondadan kurtardı. Hatta, ameliyatı takip eden günlerde babamı ameliyat olduğuna ikna etmekte zorlandık hiç ağrısı sızısı olmadığı için. Ameliyat öncesinde de sonrasında da nazik, anlayışlı yaklaşımı, bilgi birikimiyle hastamızı ve biz yakınlarını her zaman güvende hissettirdi. Kıymetli hocamıza minnettarız.
